The Residence Inn is located in the Memphis suburb of Germantown. It is conveniently located near several stores and restaurants, and is just a short drive from many popular Memphis destinations including the Memphis International Airport, downtown Memphis and Graceland.

Both the lobby and reception area are quite spacious. When first entering the building one comes to a large reception desk. To the left of the desk is a lounging and eating area, where breakfast and an evening reception are held. There is also a computer housed in the back corner for guests to use.

The rooms in this facility are more in line with that of a small studio apartment than that of a hotel room. When entering the suite, one walks into a small kitchenette with a bar/eating area, small microwave, full size refrigerator, dishwasher and stove top. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, utensils, oven mitts and other accessories. A few feet away is a work area with a desk and executive chair, and a sitting area with a sofabed, chair and fireplace. Off from the sleeping quarters is a separate wash area and bathroom with toilet and bathtub. Rooms are decorated in the Residence Inn's signature colors of blues and yellows.
Guests lodging at the Residence Inn Germantown can choose from a standard or larger suite. Standard suites include a queen bed and sofa bed, while larger suites offer completely separate sleeping quarters with as many as two bedrooms.

This facility offers numerous amenities for their guests including:

Overall this is an excellent hotel, nonetheless, its locale makes for a few negatives. First, it is within minutes of a train track. Consequently, guests looking to sleep in after a long drive or flight will find it difficult to sleep during the day. Additionally, it can be difficult to find. Trying to hit Poplar Pike directly from Poplar can be difficult. A much better route is to take either Forest Hills Irene or West Street over to Poplar Pike.
